CARI: Needs Package Commissioning
|
|
External Providers, when commissioned, will be able to use a subset of the schedule for their fulfillment aspects.
If they also use the Domiciliary Care system from QAPlus they will have access to the same iCATHI functionality for their Carers by picking the appropriate Patient.
The Timetable of Care covers Medical and Social Needs and this is used as the basis for commissioning services and input to the iCATHI prompts to support Care At Home.
By integrating our Health systems we provide a radical step forward in Health and Social Care:
CARI: Needs Assessment & Commissioning.
CONI: Placements, reviews and billing.
iCATHI: Supports the Patient and tracks delivery. |

|
Needs Assessment
Social and Home Nursing Care issues are recorded in a service schedule by the Care Coordinator. Inhouse Carers and/or Providers are allocated to these tasks and budgets are set in relation to these services.
Medication: Where details are recorded by a Care Coordinator details may be entered independently of prescribing systems.

Needs Package Commissioning is available for use by teams in other locations or organisations to create a Patient - centric view of both medical and social needs.
The Commissioning body is then able to select the most appropriate Provider, with contract / cost information to enable an approved budget to be established.
The iCATHI system can then be used both to keep the Patient informed and to track attendance and link to invoice validation. |
